LFCC Halloween Party

We dressed Ellie up as Raggedy Ann for a Halloween party at Lord Fairfax Community College on Friday evening, October 24, 2008. What a CUTIE!!!

Church Hayride

On Sunday afternoon, October 5, 2008, our church hosted a hayride and picnic at Clearbrook park. It was a beautiful afternoon, and Ellie had a wonderful time.

Octoberfest Continued

At the Octoberfest, Ellie found another little Chinese adoptee to play with. They both had a great time together.

Strasburg Octoberfest

On Saturday, October 4, 2008, the Town of Strasburg hosted an Octoberfest. Ellie enjoyed the slide of the BOUNCE!

Ballerina Class

On Thursday, September 4, 2008, Ellie began ballet lessons through Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.

Every Thursday afternoon, Katie picks up Ellie from school, takes her home to get a snack and change Ellie's clothes. Then we go pick up Curtis at LFCC, and we head to Winchester.

Cousin Lisa Comes to Visit

drove up in July
to spend two nights
us. Ellie was so sad
and disappointed when she had to leave.

We met up with friends Janet, Darryl, and Abby Kooy in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Kooys drove down from Illinois. They were in our travel group to China and adopted Abby from the same orphanage as Ellie.









Abby and Ellie enjoy playing together in Williamsburg. What a blessing these girls are in our lives!

Preschool Graduation

Ellie graduates from Stephens City United Methodist Preschool. All the children were so adorable! Ellie was the smallest child in her class.
